On July 1st twenty-one people from the US, Canada, Australia and Singapore will come together in Nairobi, Kenya to help support the mission of the Africa Yoga Project. We will spend 12 days visiting AYP's free yoga classes taught in the slums and practicing yoga together with the communities. During our time in Nairobi we will be partnering with Shining Hope for Communities to build a community center in Kibera where free yoga classes will be taught. We will also visit a Masai village in Amboseli National Park where AYP has built a school and kids are practicing yoga. "Seva" is the Sanskrit word for selfless service. "Safari" is the Swahili word for travel. This experience brings the two together for an amazing cross-cultural experience, a little adventure, and some "get your hands dirty" service.
